There might be some fallout if the wind was in the wrong direction for a few days, but nowhere north of the Midlands and especially not Highlands of Scotland would even know there had been a bomb go off unless shown on the news.

Well for 30 seconds, then the removal of government, downed comms and other infrastructure, the death of millions, and most importantly the lack of someone to manage your pension it would be miserable. Of course a one off hit like that is never going to happen they would definitely hit cities and bases in the north and Scotland as well.

The graphic of the chain reaction of launches is probably the most accurate. They aren’t likely to just send a single nuke especially at areas which are much more likely to have missile defence systems. It would probably be all or nothing.

What if the bomb is not Russian, but a bunch of terrorists?

A far more likely scenario.

Is one bomb released by one rogue group, than Putin releasing hundreds at us.

Better arrest all the Ukranians and find out who shot the surrendering prisoners of war out of hand, it is a war crime to shoot anyone who has clearly surrendered.
Against the Geneva convention.


If war criminals are to be tried, then criminals from both sides must be dealt with equally.

Maybe, but sending them home unscathed would do more damage to Putin's propaganda than a satisfactory bullet to their head.

Well it won't be massive, unlikely a rogue group of terrorists would get hold of a tsar bomba.

Suitcase bomb or something to fit in a van or truck would not even manage to flatten everything inside the M25, if set of in centre of city of London.

Also would be a ground blast, so again heavily limiting range of damage, compared to air blast when dropped from a plane, or an ICBM igniting at altitude above the city.
