I thought the UK were getting criticised for not putting more sanctions on Russia yet Russia are saying the UK are the worst.

No, they're saying UK were the one's leading the calls for sanctions, not that theirs were the worst. Boris was calling for swift exclusion fairly early but really it needed EU and US to agree. Eventually EU did.

edit: Russia really has North Korea'd itself. One good thing that could come of this, in todays global economy no one country can get away with forcibly take over a whole other country like this. China will be taking notes.

Ah yes, reading it again, makes more sense.

Mastercard and Visa leaving Russia comes after the Ukrainian President pleaded for the companies to end services in Russia during a call with U.S. lawmakers earlier today.

At what point will Putin concede this is a guerrilla war he can not win.
I honestly can't see how he can concede, it's all or nothing. He probably feels (rightly) if he pulls back now it would weaken him irreparably and it would only be a matter of time before one of generals decides to take matters into his own hands and kill him.

Have the fast food companies pulled out yet? Can’t imagine any western company doing business with Russia, just due to the backlash alone, regardless of sanctions. Cancel culture has finally paid it dues.

At what point does he have nothing left to fight with?

If as it is already looking he also decimates large amounts of his armed forces then that is also not going to go down well.

Since it started over 100k Ukrainian workers have gone home to fight form across Europe, the Russian army are totally outnumbered if not outgunned (yet).

Russia does have quite a few reservists though I believe? The tricky part is getting them all over to Ukraine and the financial cost of doing so.

I think that will be next. Not much point them being there now anyway since most won't be able to afford their prices for a big Mac etc.
