You’re quoting someone I can’t see so i’ll be guessing here, “disagree with me and you are not a patriot” rhetoric is extremist playbook stuff. Trolls and jokes I can take but extremists not so much. I am sure this person is doing everything they can in terms of donations to the red cross.

Potentially as thus far in a ten day war we've taken less refugees than the number of days in the war thus far.
That 'might' be part of our shame.
Delaying our sanctions to allow folks to shift their money is a second cause of shame.

Maybe they have family here and not in Poland?

Surely Poland has enough problems as it is being the most able bordering nation to aid the refugees, taking some of burden ought to be necessary.

As we are allowing people in that do have family here I’m wondering what the rest of this story is? Seem to be missing some information that would be critical to understanding why it would be not possible.

Yes I'm wondering what the hell is going on too if that is the case, they have family in UK from what I understand and same with another bunch of refugees refused that have family in UK too in the other post.

Clearly something is not right at the borders or the government sold us all a lie about that, I have no idea but it has been popping up a lot now they are refusing them for some reason or another while they have people they know in UK or family. I'm guessing we will see many more next week in this same situation that have finally managed to escape Ukraine heading to UK.
