Yes, so if the topic on the conflict (war) in Ukraine was adhered to without forays into anti government spiel so boringly found in dozens of threads and all similar. A discussion may be had. Some people will never realise just how awful a majority labour government would be. However I will not disabuse them of it in this thread as it would be as off topic as brexit or immigration policy is here.

Back to the WAR.

Embarrassed that a women who is at the border with an 8 year old, who has made it all the way from Ukraine, is not allowed in.

Any Russian operatives coming here with sinister intentions won’t be arriving disguised as Ukrainian refugees, they’ll come though border control on false passports that don’t raise any suspicion.

She hasn't filled in her holiday visa application and paid the fee dontcha know. It's embarrassing. The government have realised this and are now trying to make whatever changes they need to. But some on here are fine with how it was it appears.

So your statement that "Most French speak very good English" is demonstrably false and wrong.

Also, we have no idea how good their English was in the first place, as coming to the UK does not indicate any prior proficiency in the English language, so once again, making a premise on nothing but assumptions...

So now that you've been shown to be wrong can we stray back to more about Ukraine and less about immigration in general or which country people should stay in.

But that doesn't change or challenge the fact that in major cities where immigrants are likely to end up that the rates will be significantly higher. They're not ending up in provincial France...
 
Russians used 8 cruise missiles on that airport in the centre. Videos of them flying over residential areas. They can't have many of those left so must have been deemed very important for them to take out? Fuel storage and terminal wiped out.
 
Looks like the ceasefire has collapsed again. Only a few hundred got out while the city council is trying to evacuate 200,000! Must be pretty desperate.
