Couple of unfortunate facts...

97% of Ukrainians voted to be part of Russia:
The official result from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was a 97 percent vote for integration of the region into the Russian Federation

"Anti-Oligarch" Zelenskiy features heavily in the Pandora Papers:

Stop allowing yourself to be wound up be the media and start looking for the truth.

Lol. Wow can't believe someone sees an election that comes out at 97% and thinks that is legitimate, and that they are the ones disseminating the truth. A referendum held whilst Russia occupied Crimea.

I'm not pushing Russia, I'm trying to disseminate the truth, whatever that may be.

That's a great video. He's saying the kinda things about the nuclear issue that I've been saying from day 1. Right now, there's little threat of Putin nuking somewhere, but that's only because there's fresh terror each day and the war is sort of going to plan. The Ukrainians will lose eventually. If it tips the other way and Russian progress gets properly bogged down, Putin will nuke somewhere. He'll do it because it will do two things. Firstly it will mean an immediate Ukrainian surrender. Secondly it will scare the bejesus out of everyone and Putin will get a moment of utter shock to exploit.

I think this fella has it entirely right about it not being an invasion of Ukraine too. It just happens to be Ukraine, but Putin is really fighting the US and the West.

No, you so far have been trying to disseminate what "YOU" believe is the truth, just like every other ****** in here, get off your high horse.
What I know is that a very one-sided messaged is being pushed. For some reason we're meant to lionise Zelenskiy who is part of the machine. We've also been fed footage and photos, presented as recent that are in fact many years old.

That was enough to get my ******** detector buzzing so I'm looking around, trying to find out the history and agendas at play. That's all.

Ukraine with drew the control of Crimea, the day after Russia took control. That wasn't so much an invasion.

The south east Ukraine has a high Russian speaking and Russian identifying population. The western Ukrainian population speaks Ukrainian and identifies as Ukrainian.

In short they're not going give an area to a different nation simply because 60+% talk a different language and identify with a different nation - if that was the case the UK would cease to exist, the Basque/Catalan vs Spain, Brittany vs France, and there's a whole list of similar splits around the world.

Nobody trusted Putin if a minor split of those areas occurred as Putin just wants it all..

Maybe it's time you stop allowing yourself to swallow and regurgitate so much Russian propaganda, it's getting a bit tedious
There will always be bias on all sides, invariably the truth lies somewhere in the middle. It's normally buried under a load of provocative crap though.

I'm no fan of Putin, shouldn't he be gone by now anyway? The message being fed to us is SO one-sided with some blatant untruths I'm thinking there's got to be more to it so I'm trying to contextualise things. I haven't found 'the answer' yet. The whole thing smells fishy to me so I'm digging around and trying to (hopefully) get some other people asking questions too, that's all.

What china think of Putin starting a nuclear war ?
As it would effect them..

They're too busy making money out of Russia. Although I suspect they're not dumb enough to trust Putin's "material ownership".. so they're probably not going to buy companies and operations given they could simply be overruled by Putin's boys.

No, you are now spreading blatant lies.

The 97% referendum you are citing. You checked what the options on the ballot were? It was impossibly to vote No to separation from Ukraine.

Even then you think a 97% number is legitimate is absurd.

I don't claim to be the arbiter of truth, enlighten me.

Really. Read your own link and present a balanced picture instead of parroting a fixed referendum with no option to stay in Ukraine.
