I'm not sure they're slaughtering Muslims. They're 'educating' them. And the oppression of independent nations is nothing more than a minor internal issue that outsiders don't understand.
Special Education Operation + Special Military Operation; gotcha

Yeah fair point, I feel UAS systems are the main player these days, flexibility of use from ISTAR to precision strike, no risk to operator, "relatively cheap", and extremely effective.
I mean look at Pred/Reaper use in modern conflicts, Global Hawk/Bayraktor in Ukraine.
I think unmanned will be the next king of the battlefield, both aerial and ground based

Like the battleship almost 80 years ago, this could be the twilight of the Tank, when a battalion of men with NLAWs can basically decimate a battalion of tanks worth millions

I mean tanks with good infantry support and active protection etc will still be a very viable and much needed battlefield tool, see Israel and the merkavas.

Them russian tanks are pretty garbage and no better than Saddam's by the looks of things, plus they seem to have some strange doctrine of pushing tanks with inadequate cover.

I’m in no way saying tanks aren’t still a viable asset they are very much still viable, what I’m saying is in the 30/40s a country’s prestige was judged by their battleships and that was how a country’s strength was judged, that’s much the same about the tank now(disregarding Nukes)

It's interesting to see them just using consumer drones for target spotting, must give them a massive advantage over the Russians.
Air defences possibly not able to pick them up, must be a great advantage not only for surveillance and intelligence but also for artillery for more accurate targeting

In a real war, a few EMP's set off, and all drones are useless.

Those men where getting ready to hit that retreating russian armored column in the failed Kyiv assault clip earlier today according to twitter media.

Yep, prime target for the unexplained wealth laws we have in this country now. Typical Russian politician though, calls out the west for all it's evils yet is happy to buy mega expensive apartment in London to put up is daughter in law who lives the life of Riley.

Agreed, even moreso considering it's lavrov. She should be dumped on a plane and all assets seized.

Of the oligarchs sanctioned today, are any of them presently in the UK. In such case as their assets are frozen, how'd they live namely day to day expenses as assumption any liquid wealth namely cash is also frozen in any UK bank account?

Not having all your eggs in one basket as the saying goes.

They'll more than likely still have access to millions of dollars in cash/credit, as long as it's held in a country that isn't sanctioning them.

I suppose the amusing part is that anything they purchase in the UK could be seized. So they're probably more interested in a quick ticket out.
