You asserted that you think the West will capitalise on this invasion of Ukraine to remove him from power. You said the West would do that by sucking him into an unwinnable war.

Then you said it'll benefit the West as they will be better placed against China.

I was curious where all of this came from? What war are we sucking him into? He is already at war? How would the unwinnable war make the West any better 'against' China?

It’s my opinion?…

An unwinnable war (for Russia) in Ukraine. In case you’ve not noticed Russia is a major strategic partner for China.

China must realise that all it's imbrication with the west is now up for review too, if they don't act as go between and help de-escalate, can't sit on the sidelines.

roll over EMP, cyber warfare remains the dog that hasn't barked , that we know, we are still waiting to see what the fancy bears have a stucknet up their sleeves, challenge is leveraging it though, at least Huawei's out.

Ukraine is being used as a pawn by global wannabe leaders to draw Russia into a conflict and paint it as the bad guy so they can sanction the economy out of it and ultimately destroy it so they can fulfil their plan of a centralised world.
Put the bong down and slowly back away

How exactly was Russia 'drawn into' a conflict that she initiated 8 years ago of her own volition, and has recently chosen to escalate into a full invasion?

I'm no geopolitic expert, but isn't the most likely 'big winner' in this whole conflict going to be China?

Russian economy is gutted by sactions, West reduces its dependence on Russian energy.

Russia needs to sell energy to attempt to repair its failing economy, has the biggest economy in the world to its East.

China picks up energy for fire sale prices.

Or am I a **** wit?

Basically, what he seems to think is that Ukraine dropped its pants, bent over, spread its cheeks and said 'enter here'.

Seeing a twitter video which "looks" authentic of the first combat use of the Su-57 PAKFA dropping some unguided bombs at very low level on a bridge at twilight (or very early morning).

I'll not embed the video to avoid the "do not show attacks" rule but I think it's OK to post a link, you don't see anything much anyway.

Well the recent problem which ended up in Russia invading in 2014 started in 1991 with the collapse of the USSR, which people who understand that problems don't just "appear" one day understand. However if you believe absolutely nothing happened between the Ukraine and Russia and then "suddenly" Russia just attacked completely out of the blue then I would suggest spending some time catching up on the history of the region, it'll really help with understanding the current situation, unless you're happy to accept a simple "Russia bad M'kay" instead.

By the time the export routes are built to China the rest of the worlds supply routes will also have adjusted so it all just cancels itself out. Will take years.

Either way, China’s biggest ally will be massively weakened.

You could argue it goes back to 1917 as well. The point I’d like to make is you can also understand all that and still come to the conclusion Russia is in the wrong.

eta - no idea what went wrong there!
