Yea, I was a bit  when people were on about the Russians having run out of missiles already after a few days of fighting. You have to be aware there's propaganda from our sides reporting just as there is on the Russians, though theirs is on a whole different level of ridiculousness!
I think it’s more the guided cruise missiles which would be limited in stock. Not sure what was used at this base but from the craters looked like very big boy rockets.
I’m sure Russia will be keeping some in reserve but you won’t see salvos like on the first day every day.

it’s a worry for Western militaries too in that once your initial stocks of cruise missiles are used it takes time to replace and production will never keep up with use. For Russia right now I’d imagine they’ll have problems sourcing components for a while too. Leaves your ships very vulnerable as it’s their main weapon. Why the US is/was looking at rail guns and the like. Much less expensive per round and can have much more stock. Plus they don’t explode if you get hit!

Are some Russian politicians a bit deluded? Apparently one stood up and said that Russia may as well continue beyond Ukraine etc.

Like with what army? If they have struggled and lost this much against Ukraine, they have no hope against a tougher foe/NATO.

Cue more fraud from anyone with a room.
time to start kicking out tenants and getting Ukraine families instead, or is the 350 only if they actually live with you? or do second, third, fourth homes count

2nd Mayor kidnapped apparently. I assume we will never see these Mayors alive again
or taken into custody, easy to use biased words to describe something though.

I'm sure we never did the same anywhere ever

Ahh right, that makes more sense. Thanks for the explanation.

They were talking about 250000 to start with on sky news this morning.

Well if that's true I'm all for it. The Gov have been an utter embarrassment so far. That said we need a better plan the we had for the limited number of Afghan families that got evacuated. We took about 25 families locally, and they got initially placed in a local hotel that was mostly empty due to COVID stopping business travel.

Yes Chris, that isn't why missiles are hitting hospitals, they are not mistaking a bed for a mobile weapon platform.

You have exceptional odd views, they tend to be skewed so far from the median as to make them seem almost nonsensical. I find your points so heightened to division and casual disregard to live to ponder is it an act or are you forthright in these beliefs in life too

I'll get back to you later, I'm a bit busy clearing out the garage and a couple of sheds, whilst memorising a Ukrainian phrase book... ;) Don't suppose the government will pay cash, will they??

Some recent footage he has been spluttering/coughing badly, also nervous/uncontrolled body movement/twitches when he may have thought the camera wasn't showing it and/or him. Doesn't confirm any health issues but does possibly suggest there is something going on.

Ah that would be different then, I've not seen that footage, do you have any links so I could watch?

^^ this ^^ Putin doesn't give a damn if you are armed or not. When he didn't take the country in a few days he was always going to go for maximum damage in the hope of breaking the Ukrainian spirit.
It's also a message to other countries, mess with us and we will bomb you all, look at Ukrain and tell us we're bluffing.

Think there might be a difference between kidnapping rightfully elected persons versus a dictator's local stooge.

Aside from this from a year ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJE5lOxWxa4 I can't find it online from a brief look - it was at the start of the security council I think - I was watching it on a stream and before it started he was sitting there practically coughing up his lungs like the footage from a year ago.

Israel has US owned nukes, does this count as israel being a nuke power? I believe it needs permission from the US to use them?

Israel has her own nuclear weapons program independent of the US, and refuses to confirm whether or not she has nuclear weapons. Which means yes, she absolutely does have them. But they are entirely hers, and she doesn't need American permission to use them.

They're war journalists. It is part of the job.
Yeah for most of them this wont have been their first rodeo, they will be fully aware of the risks and will have witnessed first hand the realities.
Its quite disturbing how little regard Russian forces have for non-combatants. At least we know now that if we were to get in a proper conflict with Russia that the Geneva convention is fully out of the window, it would be grim.
