Simply incredible, it could have been anything, pitiful and another shambolic embarrassment. Anyone relying on NATO in Europe needs to read the recent history of the Balkans, They did sod all then, so against Russia...not in the least reassuring. If I was Putin I'd not lose sleep over a strong NATO decision making or immediate action situation. Too big, too much bureaucracy, just like the EU. Putin shouts, the country jumps, meanwhile, the EU has meetings, votes, hand parties and mass ditherings. All for one and one for all, the weakness of such blatherings was only too apparent over Covid and vaccines. Putin will have been watching that EU mess unfold and smirking.

Not just pets but all the wild creatures that are harmed by this war, all the habitat destroyed by artillery or fires, there was reports of a sewage plant that had been damaged and was leaking sewage into the rivers, the environmental impact of this war must be massive

Putin shouts and no one dares tell him he's wrong and destroys his country... Think I'll stick to the NATO and EU approach thanks.

..ok.. Yeah I think George Bush joked a few years ago dictatorship would be easier to run than democracy. the whole room laughed. or so he thought :)

The current Putin issues pretty much relate back to Dubya. Post 11th Sept there was good co-operation as Russia had its own terrorism problems. Then the US decided to invade Iraq and topple Saddam in 2003. At that point Putin reasoned Russia could be next, therefore the USA and by extension the West/NATO couldn't be trusted.

Yeah, someone posted something about a Zoo a few days ago, where the zookeepers stayed behind to look after the animals, I've been trying to find updates to that story but nothing yet.

Something similar happened during the war in Afghanistan and all the animals had PTSD, Lions and Bears terrified.

Chris is just stuck in the 1950's in terms of values and lack of sophistication and nuance ;)

I am sure he would be first in line to support a collective effort a long as it suited him.

eta usefull to hear the opinion though in case you want to consider what your grandfather would have though about all this!
