Chris is just stuck in the 1950's in terms of values and lack of sophistication and nuance ;)

I am sure he would be first in line to support a collective effort a long as it suited him.

Yeah I imagine his joy at living in his fascist state would soon wane when he finds himself off to the gulag/concentration camp for speaking his mind when something happens he doesn't quite agree with.

The current Putin issues pretty much relate back to Dubya. Post 11th Sept there was good co-operation as Russia had its own terrorism problems. Then the US decided to invade Iraq and topple Saddam in 2003. At that point Putin reasoned Russia could be next, therefore the USA and by extension the West/NATO couldn't be trusted.

Iraq invaded Kuwait. US was protecting its oil partner on request of help. Saddam was a universal threat to many Arab states.

So I don't see the link between Dubya and Kuwait.

Seems ridiculously risky to visit a warzone in this age of video conferencing tools.

I doubt he has any choice, they probably drugged him and told him there'll be some nice young hair to stroke and sniff when he gets there, I can't think of any less globally, or even self aware US president in modern times. too old, too soft, too easily manipulated. Near senile.

We're not talking about Biden. It's the the Polish, Czech and Slovenian PMs that have just arrived in Kyiv

Agreed. The US need to implement that you cannot run for president if you require an afternoon nap.

Yes, Biden is most likely suffering from some form of degenerative disease, but what does he have to with this?

Sounds like you’re going senile, they aren’t talking about Biden. But thanks for your input as always.
