Is there any way either through forum settings or by plugin to block embedded twitter elements from showing on the forum? without having to physically ignore every person that posts them?
I appreciate 0007's way of doing it, text with a link, perfect and minimal. Its just getting tiresome being bombarded with Twitter posts. If I want to look at twitter I'll go on twitter itself or use one of the live news streams on reddit.

Yeah it's ridiculous, even with him on ignore for his rss feed posts everyone keeps talking about it for 50 posts in a row and detracting from the topic even more. Quite frustrating indeed.

Not sure how they detract from the topic, when they're all ontopic, but sure - it's the news that's coming out right now surrounding Ukraine?
They're probably the most relevant posts as it's the news that's happening right now.

I do hope there isn't complacency on this aspect - far too many critical aspects of support seem to get tied up in bureaucracy or a lack of urgency when time is very likely critical and Russia isn't just going to sit back and let supplies in if they can help it.

I'm not liking the complacency and naivety in general when it comes to Russia - they aren't just going to sit back and take it with all these sanctions and so on, but everyone is acting like they won't hit back - whether hybrid forms of warfare or directly with military action. We are in new territory where many of the old rules may no longer apply but people seem stuck in a conventional mindset.
