Ukrain need to be careful of what they give away to putin, he is a rabid dog who will keep coming back to bite them.
He will never honour any peace deal in the future as he will just make up another excuse a couple of years down the line when he rebuilds his forces.
He will never forgive or forget this humiliation so if they give away to much of their military power he will pounce again.
Also the disputed territories will be gone forever as that has to be in the deal as there is no way they are going to leave themselves still fighting over it.
Ukrain need this to stop but the price will be very high.

Yes, basically it would be the equivalent situation of the EU invading the UK and the UK letting the EDL join the military because we needed everyone willing to fight.
Azov literally rule an Area though and run their own battalion, it's not just letting people join the army.

We had this general discussion many, many pages back and the general consensus was, to paraphrase poorly TBF - "Russians don't deserve to be treated like humans" - which I strongly disagreed with but the public mood is "All Russians Evil, Kill all Russians" and if you disagree or have an actual thinking brain you're labelled a pro-Putin apologist by people who have zero understanding what real war is like because actual logical thinking is currently complete hidden behind waves of more and more outrage.

RAF Fairford and Brize Norton latest: Lockheed C-130 over South West after lone B-52 departs Gloucestershire
An RAF Lockheed C-130 Hercules jet is currently circling over Somerset and Gloucestershire. An American B-52 jet has also departed RAF Fairford this morning as increased military activity over the UK continues.
F-15 jets have also been reported over the South West in recent days as mass activity in the skies continue. Jets from the UK and US military forces have been passing over all parts of the UK and mainland Europe as the Ukraine crisis continues.
The sightings across Gloucestershire and Somerset come the day after two of the US F-15 bomber planes were forced into an emergency landing in Norfolk earlier this week. Other B-52 jets have been seen and heard coming in and out of Gloucestershire's RAF Fairford, with RAF Tanker planes helping to refuel Typhoon jets over Europe consistently moving in and out of RAF Brize Norton in nearby Oxfordshire.
Much of the activity is connected to a NATO mission to defend allied airspaces against Russia in the face of their invasion of Ukraine. NATO Allied Air Command has confirmed that the RAF Airbus planes flying out of Brize Norton have been helping to refuel and support Typhoon fighters over Europe who are trying to defend the region after Russian aggression.
The US Air Force (USAF) have released a statement revealing why their huge eight-engined bombers have been highly active in the skies above Gloucestershire over the past month.
There are currently four of the iconic B-52 Stratofortress located at RAF Fairford, which operates jointly as one of the USAF's European air bases.
The B-52's have been in Europe to "integrate with NATO Allies over Europe" as part of the 'Bomber Task Force Europe'.

He’s sounding more like hitler with each announcement. I was watching World War Two in colour earlier today and the resemblance is uncanny.
Whatever your thoughts on aspects of the US, thank goodness for their huge economy and tech that they offer to allied countries, even if it does come at a cost. I’d hate for Russia to be a lead superpower.
