Could be a military coup. Sounded like the military refused orders to take part in the invasion of Ukraine so maybe elements are actually moving to get shot of Putin’s poodle.

If it is, and big if still, can't decide if it's a good thing or not! It'd mean a huge amount of Russias troops in the north of Ukraine are more or less cut off from supply so while that sounds good could it be the excuse Putin needs to do something really really dumb.

Very mixed reports from Belarus but latest seems to suggest its just "Exercises"... surely they would have been doing similar (i.e making so much noise / firing missiles, etc) when they had joint exercises a few weeks ago?

Coming from a recognised Belarusian account:

What is happening?
twitter's stupid tags confusing things apparently. This is someone linked to the opposition of Lukasheko and they are operating from Poland apparently after the crackdown following protests due to the fraudulent election

Russia are BS'ing about the talks i think. Just making it look like they are trying...

Plus, lots of fake news around...

of course why people seem to think Russia are trustworthy or what they say is of any semblance to what they actually want to do I have no idea.
Its like some are really not learning here.

Some posters still think this is all about NATO expansion....give me a break.

Yougov survey the other day asking if you think Boris should resign was still overwhelmingly yes.

The public haven't forgotten what Boris has done.
