I had a look at some of those flights and most of them do those routes every now and again, slightly unusual that many coincided but not straightforward evidence of a mass exodus. There was also an increased number of private flights out of Russia around the same time.

My guess when I read your post was that it would be about Brexit. A quick goolge showed I was right, she is threatening the EU with article 16 again.

Classic shifty tactics, attack your enemy while they are busy averting a major threat to European (and world) security. Not to mention the EU are dealing with a humanitarian crisis on the borders of some of their member states.

I wouldn't have chosen to pick up on it, but since it's been picked up on: the objection to "the Ukraine" is that it is a Russian framing of the country, describing it as a region of Russia rather than an independent nation. You can see why people are touchy about it right now?

Yup, there were the Dubai ones, I think the government ones were nuclear posturing aimed at the west maybe - Lavrov getting turned around is interesting, wonder if Russia is a bit miffed at China. The Dubai ones are perhaps Oligarchs fleeing Putin's purge...

In the grand scheme of things, no I cannot see it being significant at all, to be frank. Particularly as it it might be called "That big crater" soon, by any survivors ;) People attach too much significance to trivialities. But I thank you for your explanation.
