UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [15th - 17th March 2022]

Benfica...thats superb. Couldnt have picked a better team if I had picked the draw myself. Probably one of the worst teams left in. Ideal that is.

And we face Villareal or Bayern Munich in the semi final.

Which means there is the possibility now of a Man City v Liverpool final if both teams got there :D

City have to play athleti either side of our game with them, that's perfect for us. They are such a **** house of a side it could really mess with them.

You got that right, even my Gooner son texted to say that he’d
have loved to have been at The London Stadium last night.

Yea, it looked like it was absolutely bouncing. Good on them, 40 odd years since they've competed in a European QF

There’s going down easily and the odd tactical foul then theres Athletico Madrid.

Maybe that could buy Richarlison, he would fit in well.

Hell of a draw for the quarter finals and semis. Is it next season they're changing how the champions league is structured?

:cry::cry::cry::cry:

You've clearly not watched Atletico over the years if you think that.
or Liverpool. I'm pretty sure that Liverpool has been the cleanest team in the prem and one of the cleanest in europe that past 5 odds years.

dont have the numbers but the amount of fouls commited and yellow/red cards dealt out are incredibly low.

edit. here we are, old article but we're actually on track to be the cleanest prem team for 6 years in a row now.
