They're already there as are volunteers from multiple nations, it's not exactly hard either - Belarus has a border with Poland, cross into Poland and then into Ukraine, simples!
 
China will want to protect it's investment in Central Asia (the Stans) and will know full well the risk to said investment through appeasing Putin too much, eventually China will want to become their strategic trade partner which will naturally push Russia out over time as it's infrastructural problems worsen.

Wonder how the imperialist mind will handle that defenestration?

Mate all you do is come into this thread and tell people how Ukraine should surrender in 100 different ways.

Surely you get it by now, no one wants to see this not us not the west not Europe and certainly not Ukraine.

It should be clear at this point. Russia cannot and will not be appeased regardless of concessions made.

Putin has clearly shown he is completely untrustworthy and unreliable. Your confidence that he and the Russian federation stick to any kind of agreements is misplaced.
The chance they keep to them infinitesimally small.

A few have said similar yet nobody has been able to locate a post where I have asked Ukraine to surrender or give up.

I have said I think they should try and make some concessions to try and reach a peace deal which Zelensky himself is currently trying to do.

I say peace deal to end the war and it seems to trigger some here, their hate for Putin/Russians appears stronger than any compassion they have for the suffering Ukrainians.

Then maybe you should report this to Zelensky who makes almost daily requests for peace talks with Russia. You need to inform him that Russia cannot be trusted and that you forbid any peace talks to go ahead.

Offering peace is not the same as offering surrender. Thus far, Zelensky's message has been 'If you won't accept peace, I'll keep kicking the **** out of your army until you do.'

He's in a position of strength right now. He's making it clear that Putin doesn't get to dictate the terms.

My biggest worry, is that the conflict has gone way past the point where it could be decided quickly. I don’t think anybody expected Ukraine to do this well and frankly make the Russians look like a bunch of swineherds.

However, because Russia have committed so many resources and incurred heavy losses, and not gotten close to anything resembling a victory - they can’t pull back or give up, the humiliation would be too much for Putin to handle.

That combined by Ukraine being resupplied and aided by the west, combined with their success so far - I can’t see Ukraine giving up any time soon. I think this is going to continue until there’s nothing left of Ukraine other than rubble, maybe even for years.

I think Russia will just basically “smash the place up” with artillery in a pointless war of attrition, if they can’t take the country - smashing it up is the next best thing to them, I imagine.

I have no idea what will happen to Putin, I think there’s a real possibility that Russia could collapse as a state off the back of these sanctions. I mean - there’s no ramping back those sanctions now, Russia is totally ostracised and isolated, I don’t see how it can continue as it was.

Russian forces will continue to advance in the east, and encircle Ukrainian army positions. Mariupol will be taken. Russia will take and hold the east bank of the dnieper, advancing north. These will be a big push on odessa, which will offer much stiffer resistance than expected. Kiev will not be taken for the foreseeable future. Russian forces push west, from centre and North from odesa pocket. Civilian deaths to increase rapidly over the next few weeks. Commodity prices skyrocket, causing unrest in Africa and Middle East.

Useful comparisons: conqest of Iraq, one month; german conquest of (northern, not vichy) France, six weeks; Vietnamese invasion of Cambodia (1978), two weeks.

All of it completely unacceptable. Russia does not get to decide which countries join NATO. Russia has no legal right to the land she has invaded. Russia has no right to demand demilitarisation of a sovereign nation she has invaded.
