Although normally quite a few precautions are taken against it happening by the people handling the grain, assuming they're trained in it and know what they're doing as opposed to potentially being pressganged into it.

Of course if you know how to prevent it happening, you also know very well how to make it happen, and it may not take much for say one person who doesn't agree with what is going on to do something that either increases the chances of it happening "naturally" (disabling a safety feature), or actively working to make it happen (as I understand it it, a simple spark can be enough, let alone a naked flame).

I suspect it's more likely incompetence if it is grain, Russian sailors being tasked to load grain quite probably aren't among those who know to take precautions and/or are trained in handing it unless they happen to have served in a specific role in the merchant navy previously.

Blimey, that was quick work, nice one if correctly attributed! :)

Hopefully the occupied Ukrainians are selectively poisoning their grain, but I imagine the Russians aren't quite that stupid and have collectivised it.

On another note I also hope that NATO increases it's fabrication capabilities for these anti-air and anti-tank munitions so that we can replace our own stock whilst ensuring steady aid for Ukraine.

Apparently what was happening is the Russians were using the helis like mobile artillery - they'd predictably do the same run of going forward and low, pop up and do a high angle climb so as to lob the rockets as far as possible then flare to avoid AA and return so they waited until they'd used up their rockets and chaff and got them on the way back when they couldn't so easily defend themselves. (Can't verify that is footage of it though).

LMFAO, I'm pretty sure that's game footage from ARMA 3.

Sadly quite a bit of ARMA3 footage being passed off - especially when it comes to SU-25s being shot down (which is often footage of A10s from ARMA3).

Your heads in the sand. If it looks like a dog, and it barks like a dog - it's probably a dog.

There's a weird propensity for some individuals on this forum to display this trait. There can be 999 pieces of evidence showing something to be true but they'll ignore those to follow something that might possibly indicate otherwise and use that as the basis of their opinion.

We're currently in the initial stages of an ideological war so there's no time for second guessing as it would only leave gaps for 'realists' to justify remaining largely neutral. The elite is being targeted because they played a major role in Russia's aggression (only way to keep hold of their power/wealth, the useless and impossible foreign adversary) by obliterating a more equitable future for their 'comrades'.

It's also well known that they directly help the Russian government (Putin in particular) evade scrutiny about their own wealth that they pretend doesn't exist.

Haven't they been activating predetermined orders the whole war though which is partly why they're in the mess they're in because have had zero ability to be flexible in their orders ?

Related to that - still a lot of civil disobedience/riot control gear turning up in captured supplies - can just imagine when you are desperate for warm clothing and ammunition and you get a baton and shield turn up :s they are obviously struggling to adapt to the situation.

Seeing some new vids of closer views. Think it’s drone strikes or drone guiding the artillery shots in. 4/5 hits in the area

It absolutely is, it's from ARMA 3. The tower on the hill around the 33 second mark is a dead giveaway. I still play the game now!
Yeah its pretty obvious, the giveaway for me was the initial missile strikes then the damage model and wreckage all look identical for each kill.

Fun fact, the army actually use a program called VBS2 (Based on ARMA2) as a virtual training platform. Its actually quite a powerful tool and was used to good effect to train our guys prior to deployment to OP HERRICK/TORAL.
Could definitely do with a revamp though on the newer engine, looks incredibly dated although thats no doubt down to the antiquated hardware it has to run on.

Kinda crazy that the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence is sharing it.
Probably never bothered to verify it and just reposted a video, I mean lets face it not everyone is a computer nerd, for the untrained eye that could possibly fly as genuine... Still a little unprofessional and slightly embarrassing.
