In fairness, the Russian's won that war, and that's probably the only lesson Putin took from it >.>Looking at the tactics being employed by both sides, it almost feels like the Continuation War being fought again. In that war, Russia used their standard tactics of shelling and then throwing men and materials at the problem. The Finns moved fast in small groups and took out the Russian supply lines, demoralising their enemy in the process.
You'd have thought that Russia would have learned something from that.
