This is an interesting article from the BBC suggesting that social media companies are deleting content to hide war crimes, in particular tictok, which is owned by a Chinese company, it's no surprise their trying to hide what's happening in Ukraine.

Did you read the article you posted?
It makes no reference that TikTok in particular is doing anything it didn’t already do prewar. Remove violent content. It’s a kids dancing channel.
It makes no claims nor infers any pro Russian bias due unto being Chinese.
It makes no claims that Tltok deletes more or less than any other western owned media company. Caveat Telegram.

No sanctions should be reversed until Russia pulls out of Ukraine completely and covers all of the immense destruction they have caused during this war. God knows how many billions it will take to rebuild after this.

Yeah I saw that earlier, so what if they did? You're accusing them of attacking you during a war you created? Boohoo, **** off.

Yes I did read it and I suggest you read more about tictok, they have been a platform for Chinese propaganda for years.

I said the article suggests social media companies are deleting evidence of war crimes, which it does, and they do single out Tictok, then I give my opinion based on what I know about Tictok, am I not entitled to an opinion?

*Ukraine Top Security Official: Russian Allegations Ukraine Is Behind the Belgorod Strike Are Not Correct.

Wow, so either:
  • a couple of madlad Ukrainian pilots went off piste from central command (or their local command didn't report the op), or they're fog of war-ing the operation because.... dunno!
  • Russian pilots accidentally attacked the wrong place (that can't be possible, can it?!)
Edit: or sabotage as protest against war - they'll be losing lots of friends/colleagues for no good reason. Russians would defo keep that quiet.
  • False flag from the Russian side - really don't know why they'd bother?! Unless they're really going to escalate soon? The withdrawl is turning into a nightmare for those pulling back - there's some insane videos on reddit of ambushes and tanks shooting close range at other vehicles hit by arty, unclear if Ukrainian or Russian panicking and trying to clear the road but they're having a mare.

Just looking at Russia's debt - it appears that France and Italian banks hold over 25% of Russian debt each. That would explain why the French and Italian governments have been talking to Putin.

No, it's Macron's job to be the one to talk to Putin given that he is the EU president for this year.

And Russia is servicing its debt repayments from frozen assets which is why they won't default on their debt obligations.

I’m aware that Macron is the EU president in rotation. However there is also ensuring the debt is serviced.
