If you bought an untoasted subway for later, what’s the best way of toasting it so it’s hot and melts the cheese?

would you use the microwave, grill, oven, panini press or something else?

Commercial high speed oven (basically what they have in subway) goes for a mere £2,700, give or take.

Runs on a standard 3pin UK 3kw plug socket, bonus!

I'd question all of my life's choices if my laziness was to buy a sandwich to take home to then toast, when I could simply buy all of the ingredients and make it myself.

Stick it under the broiler if you have one and keep an eye on it, you'll never get it the same as they do unless you make it from scratch/take BUDFORCE's suggestion (can you prime a commercial oven?).

Or maybe your severely disabled and can’t cook your own food. Ever thought of that?

If you're precluded from the cold bits of sandwich making I'd heavily recommend avoiding the hot bits of sandwich making.

Could you fold it open, cut it lengthways and then just grill the cheese/meat side? Saves peeling salad away.

Local ones shut already. I’m really just asking for the future. I don’t know why our Subway shuts early on Sundays but it does.

I mean re-toasting/heating a subway sounds rank tbh.

Order a Chinese, kfc, even a domino's if you are really desperate.

I’m actually having a KFC tonight. Was supposed to have a roast but mums not well :(
Not to rub it in but I had my first mum cooked roast in as long as I can remember today, so good! Hope your mum feels better soon.

Hmm, depends on the fillings I guess. If you have loads of salad/sauce its not going to work toasting it. Otherwise if its just fillings/cheese you could grill it. Thats all they do.
