Coal Office by Kings Cross. It is an Israeli restaurant part owned by Tom Dixon. Lots of new tastes and flavours!

Do you prefer smooth or chunky soup?

I much prefer smooth soup. I don’t mind a bit of chunk, but I’ve had some that really are more like bloody stews than soups!

Depends on the soup I don't like it "runny" but smooth so long as it has some thickness to it

Yeah same here. I like French onion, but it can be too watery. I like the texture like cream of tomato or potato & leek. Baxter’s spicy parsnip is a great soup.

It’s ok. Just a big tasty with a bit of bbq sauce on. Nothing groundbreaking.

Maccies have completely abandoned their old specials like tastes of the USA. They cynically know they don’t need to spend the extra cash as people will just buy their regular items anyway.

Had a Chinese last night. Chow mein, S&P chicken, crispy chilli beef, satay and chicken balls. And before anyone says anything, no I haven’t been ill and I haven’t got the two Bob bits

Walk to the local garden centre, cuppa and cake

Mid afternoon drinks in the pub then back to friends for a BBQ

Got home and had a sneaky slice of cake my eldest had made
