Stalin... Kills more of his own people than Hitler ever killed, and yet... Another country is the problem. Great insight by Russia in into their own history with no lessons learned.
Actually quite unlikely they'd detonate on their own cities - the mechanism for triggering a nuclear warhead is fairly precise and unlikely to function properly in a failure situation.
So if they are admitting to 600... (bare in mind that is only the Western Military District - a lot of the new draft came from the east)... additionally from the reports from Russian social media many were pushed into signing contracts and not technically conscripts.
EDIT: Someone's light hearted comment on that: "Authorities also report that 15,000 dead ones failed to respond to their enquiries.".

So it's now illegal in Russia to post or talk about Russian casualties as it's now under 'state secret'
Few that had memorial walls online etc have decided to stop and take them down before they get arrested now .

From the videos and pictures appears the Russians are shifting at least 4 regiments (or BTG - I can't keep track of the structure of Russian forces) worth of various types of artillery, but mostly 152mm SP and towed, to that front, probably more. Looks like they are going to try and brute force their way through.

Well that's never been in doubt as that's the legislation, however it's practically impossible to hide that if Spain has every interest in making it known (which they will).
Yeah the whole war is pretty savage especially in the east from what I've read and seen in videos. The fighting their is ferocious and casualties are high on both sides, just for example one unit of foreign volunteers were fighting in Severodonetsk and within 24 hours they had suffered 3 dead and 6 wounded from a unit of 24 men.
