Iron Dome will almost certainly never be installed in Ukraine neither as an asset partially or fully under Ukrainian control or another nation. Aside from the scale and costs of implementing and supporting it Israel are worried information about it would get into the wrong hands.

Though slightly weird - Israel would be willing to work with UAE and SA to implement a similar system but refuses to do so in relation to Ukraine.
Guessing that's because Israel has infiltrated both those countries to such a degree as to not have to worry about it.

The problem with getting these geriatric commanders back is that they're very likely to be in a state of bad health, poor temperament and there's a risk that they have been compromised by Western intelligence services. Also the underlings are likely to take a dim view of getting ordered around by these examples of excess when their own rations are so poor.

LOL the EU doesn't seem to like Lithuania's more hawkish/by the book approach to sanctions:

Mamer added that Lithuania “has to apply additional checks on road and rail transit” through EU territory, but “these checks are focused, proportionate and effective. They will be based on smart risk management, to avoid sanctions evasion while allowing free transit.”

Two officials told POLITICO the new guidance makes clear that Lithuanian customs authorities have to check the goods to avoid sanctions evasion, but can allow onward transport of metals if they are destined for Russia’s internal market — meaning Kaliningrad.

But Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė said the transit ban on steel and ferrous metal through the EU is part of the bloc’s sanctions, as agreed by all 27 member countries.

“As foreseen in the fourth package of EU sanctions, which was adopted on 15 March 2022, the EU’s restrictive measures on imports into and transit through the EU of Russian steel and other ferrous metal products definitively entered into force on 17 June 2022,” she said. “Lithuania applies the EU restrictive measures in accordance with the EU law and in consultations with the European Commission.”

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda has stressed that his Baltic country "must" and "will" enforce EU sanctions on Russian goods amid harsh rhetoric from Moscow over Vilnius's recent restrictions affecting the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.

He called for an "urgent" start to consultations with the European Commission to protect Lithuania's interests and international obligations in the shadow of sanctions against Ukraine's "aggressor."

Russia this week summoned an EU envoy to "strongly" protest and threaten unspecified "retaliation" over the overland curbs on shipments to its sliver of land between Poland and Lithuania.

"It is absolutely clear that Lithuania must implement and will implement EU sanctions," Nauseda, whose country was reoccupied by Soviet forces at the end of World War II and regained independence in 1990, said via Facebook.
And now if the EU tries to adjust things to placate Russia....
