That would be hilarious! A good and very much-needed distraction to help Ukraine too, would be quite funny if Putin not only has to divert troops/resources to Chechnya but if he actually ends up losing the province then LOL
 
State TV is propaganda central. They claim that pretty much everything is Russia. The places they don't even hold, to they claim is Russia. Like Kharkiv for example. It's just ludicrous.

Crimea is heavily fortified. They have had 8 years to dig in. Minefields etc. It will be a extremely hard fight IMO unless they can get around those initial defences.
 
Crimea still holds land connection to Russia even with the bridge gone. They also have ships to bring supplies. I don't think it will be as easy as you think.

Unless they are closer to kherson than I think there is still hell of a lot of land to take to get to crimea.

They're not saying they're taking it today or next week but it's on the list for things to take back
