To give this image context, what you can see here is a Ukrainian father holding his dead 13 year old son’s hand while he waits for an ambulance to collect his body. This kid was killed by shrapnel from a Russian missile strike while waiting at a bus stop in Kharkiv.
Hopefully the head honcho totally-not-FSB-agent-rebel leader was present.
Nope, it got smaller, the Ukrainians have been steadily taking back ground around the Kherson region.
Sadly while Ukraine beating Russia back is good it's also bittersweet.
Because Russia are raining down artillery and rockets on Ukrainian towns/cities to try and kill Ukrainians, but Ukraine are also raining down artillery and rockets on Ukrainian towns/cities to try and kill Russians.
That's one of the suckiest parts of fighting against an invading army, all the infrastructure/etc you need to take out is your own
