As far as China is concerned Taiwan is their territory, in reference to attack they are saying if the US enter Taiwan airspace, they will recognise it as an attack on Chinese airspace

There is not a single Chinese military defence system in Taiwan, for all intended purposes its territory they would be attacking, they do not control it, or occupy it. What words they choose for politics makes no difference to the reality on the ground.
China should focus on its rockets though, they aren't very good at landing

I'm not bothered too much either was but FYI China/Taiwan has been a consistent part of this thread since the beginning hence why people mention it occasionally when the topic goes there. I.E there was discussion of the possibility of Russia/China launching invasions at the same time as it would be impossible for the west to support Ukraine and Taiwan. Back when Putin delayed the invasion there was discussion it was at China's request to avoid clashing with the Olympics, and that really hurt his plans as Ukraine made golden use of those extra days to prepare.

So Denys the Mence reckons Russia has moved a further 13k troops to reinforce Kherson, I wonder if those are regular Russian units or contingents of levied DPR men?
I would hope that if Britain was in a situation like some of these european countries, we'd start putting pressure on Russia.
I can't help but wonder if this whole situation isn't being dragged out for other reasons. It's either that or there are a lot of passive politicians in europe.

No one really knows what their trigger point is but according to them Taiwan is theirs and the US would be invading their territory.
I dont think the US will be taking it to far and try very hard not to reach that trigger point.
Maybe moved from Donbass, I saw a tweet a few days ago pointing out that the Ukrainians can play around with the Russians as the Ukraine side have a much shorter route to move troops back and forth between the East and the South consider both routes as sort of arcs but the Ukrainian one has a much shorter radius... They could make a lot of noise about Kherson and then make a push for parts of the East, or indeed make a load of noise about Kherson then cut off the additional troops once they're over the river etc..
Even if they truly believe it is rightfully theirs they're still well aware that a rival China is currently in charge and that a US politician visiting them doesn't constitute an "invasion".

Hong Kong was originally ceded by the Qing dynasty to the British Empire in 1841 in perpetuity. This territory was extended in 1898 with a 99 year lease.
In 1911 there was an uprising in China and the ruling party became the Republic of China who then lost a civil war and fled to Taiwan (so I'm guessing this is who you mean by "Taiwan China").
So no, we did not lease "Hong Kong" from "Taiwan China". We leased an area around Hong Kong from the Qing Emperor who was at the time the ruler of mainland China. We gave back the New Territories (along with Hong Kong for various political reasons) to the current ruling party of mainland China.
The way you are approaching it is grotesque and the only people who benefit from people "chilling" and forgetting about the war, especially with the recent accusations of atrocities, is Russia [the Russian government].

Forums are meant to be a place of discussion yet other than posting fake news and then celebrating those fake news nothing much else happens here, when someone comes in with a different view the same handful of people insult them out.
I know people here are a bit sensitive, so I am generally quite careful with how I word my posts but let's be honest a bit sensitive is understatement of the year if people needed to shield their eyes from The Guardian article.

That soldier who was castrated was apparently shot and killed, I couldn't watch the video but they put his balls in his mouth recorded mocked him etc before they shot him. I know people who watched it and its not hard to find.
Its circulating the usual Russian telegram channels too, unfortunately with a lot of support from people in them.
