This is ultimately self defesting.

One of the practical reasons you should treat POWs well is to make it easier for your enemy to mentally come to the decision to surrender, rather that fight on.

I suspect there isn't a Ukrainian solder out there who hasn't seen or heard of the video, many of whom will now have come to the decision to fight to the death (if they havn't already) rather than risk such a fate.

More Russian soldiers will die, the Ukrainians will fight harder.

The brutal stupidity of this is breathtaking.

(Sadly, I suspect once this is over and the things that went on in the Russian POW camps/prisons comes to light, we're going find out the things that happened there will rank with some of the worst depravities in our history)

So you are unable to quote the post and are just making this up, maybe add it to your Twitter feed I'm sure there's a few who will believe it when they see ITS FROM TWITTER.
 
The mandatory evacuation zone strikes me as the region Russia might deploy tactical nukes in to create a buffer zone that's very hard to operate in safely, especially for the long range missiles currently making life hard for them.

I don't think "small" tactical nukes would bring NATO into play, sadly. It would probably only buy Russia even more time to get its way.

Should do, tbh. Russia gets what they want, using such weapons, is going to be very bad for the world as the years roll on IMO.

Seems like every ex-USSR region is a sitting duck really in future, if Russia wins in the Ukraine. Given the kicking the Ukraine has given Russia, maybe those who want to remain independent should take action now and join the Ukraine in repelling the invaders rather than waiting for Russia to regain strength in future. Hate to say that but...........

Ok you haven't even managed to quote a post where I said I support the Russian army so again learn to quote the correct posts.

Most here I assume support the British army but if some were to commit war crimes and torture POW's that does not mean we are in support of our forces commiting those atrocities.
So not only are you unable to provide any supporting evidence for your claim, even if you were you to it would mean nothing as your argument is flawed with broken logic.

No you're so very wrong, the Pelosi visit is very much an invasion to them, they are livid about it as to the Chinese goverment its the enemy (in a sense) meeting the iiegal goverment on their land.

They warned about the consequences of this and although it didnt hit the trigger point it has probably came very close to it.

America has huge resourses protecting this visit, they are not there fo nothing.

For one that drone footage did not look like it was taken in Ukrain, more like a desert.

Fact is we cant believe anything we see on the internet.

The casualty figures dont make sense either, only a couple of hundred Ukrainians but thousands of russians, looks odd to me.

Battlefield use of small tactical nuclear weapons would be a paradigm shift. It will demonstrate the military and political value of such weapons, and stimulate a rush to acquire them across the world.

I think, if they were used, it would increase calls for a ceasefire, while at the same time cementing russia's pariah status for decades to come.

Very worrying times.

No, I'm not wrong on that point, I'm not disputing that they're angry about it I'm just pointing out that it clearly isn't an "invasion" FFS! :D

Anyway, this is supposed to be the Ukraine thread so perhaps if you want to carry on taking CCP stances uncritically then we could do so in another thread.

It's not fake


It's on the official Russian embassy twitter feed, it's all over the internet if you Google, heck I just pointed an article that talks about it.

But you refuse to acknowledge it as it doesn't fit with your pro russian rubbish.

Unless the official Russian UK embassy page is now unofficial and some kind of Ukrainian propaganda outlet ??
