Fury’s not getting £500 mil anymore than he’s ever going to fight AJ for free. He’ll get paid well if the Saudis want the fight but he has no real choice but to fight Usyk or he will forever be known as a duck.
He got exuse (retirement) but i dont think is a duck just want to have a big payday.

He was never retired that’s why he still has his belt. I get he wants the money and I don’t blame him for wanting to take as much Saudi money as he can get his hands on, after all AJ made it possible for him to get Saudi money. He won’t get near 500 million that’s just nonsense but he absolutely needs to fight Usyk or he will retire with a paper thin resume. Think about it Klitschko and Wilder are the only 2 standout names other than that it’s Chisora and Whyte. AJ still has a better resume despite his 3 loses.

Pricing himself out makes it a duck. If it walks like a duck and it sounds like a duck...

Anyway, he can make as many ultimatums as he wants. WBC have given him until tomorrow (26/8) to make a decision otherwise he has to vacate. As @Doobedoo points out, Fury really has a pathetic resume all things considered.

I’m not just hating on Fury either. I like Fury when he’s not talking absolute ********. If he beats Usyk fair and square then he absolutely deserves to be named best of his generation. Even better if he beats AJ as well. The problem is people forget the past and place Fury on some kind of pedestal that he hasn’t warranted.

I don't really like Fury the man but I can separate the man and the boxer. My main issue I have with him/his fans is the amount of free passes he gets or hypothetical wins. For him to be the best of his generation he needs more than just Wilder and Whyte on his list.

Like I said before I don't think is a duck but this times it's not just boxing it's business and money . I would like to see him fighting Usyk or AJ but this is up to him now. Personally I think his money demand's are bull.... he got opportunity to become true champion he should take it.

I would like to see him fighting Usyk and AJ and clear heavy decision and them retainment, after that yes we can call him great champion but he needs to prove it first.

like klitschko ?

I don’t know what you want people to say. It’s not a game you can’t just start button bashing to get a victory. Boxing is very complex especially at the elite level. AJ has made a career of knocking people out, he’s very good at it but that has never happened to Usyk and may never happen. Forget what fury says, he will not be steamrolling Usyk.

I don't want people to say anything, I'm just giving my opinion. It ties up with a few things I've said previously, he hasn't been the same since the Ruiz loss. He's gun shy. He doesn't seem all there mentally and this was definitely seen at the end of the fight, throwing the belts etc.

Literally watching a replay now, Usyk buzzing around like a wasp, AJ reluctant to throw more than two punches at a time and never followed up when he did contact, stuck in second gear, but as you say Usyk didn't give him a chance to settle. His current camp and previous camp were giving him lots of positive (ie you're winning each round) talk in between rounds. This suggests he's in need of positivity rather than reality.

I think I've probably been watching too many classic fights where the fighters have more stamina.

In the 6th currently. I think he couldn't throw the punches becuase he had to expend a lot of energy trying to keep up with Usyk and not get torn apart again. Maybe he was hoping to keep going until the end and then land some big shots late on?

And some good quality steroids from a certain Mr Evan Fields

I imagine loads of them were and still are on enhancement drugs.

Regarding historic fighters, Hagler (appreciate it's a totally different weight class) was an absolute beast, I'm still not fully up to speed with boxing history.
