Each HIMARS rocket costs around $150,000, and the wheeled chassis/launcher costs $5.6 million. Thus, the entire system (six rockets and the wheeled launcher) comes to $6.5 million, and a dozen HIMARS launchers would come at $78 million.
Lots of cash

Drop in the ocean really. When all is said and done likely $1tn will be spent on Ukraine in terms of aid, military aid, help, training, intelligence, financial support, and reconstruction etc..

That's for THE counter attack that was going to capture Kherson?
The breakthrough one.
Short attention span on this forum.
I've seen Apocalypse cults with a better grip on reality.

Russia is claiming:

* It's killed all Ukranian partisans/spies/saboteurs in shoot outs today in Kherson and there is nothing to worry about.

Tbh.. I am a bit concerned about the partisans, that clip from yesterday showing an exchange of gunfire in broad daylight isn't necessarily good for them... they might have killed a few Russians but there are plenty of Russians in Kherson and they sadly there is a very high chance the Ukrainian partisans involved would have been killed or captured after something like that.

It's rather different to an occasional sniper where no one knows where the bullet has come from or brief attacks/ambushes on Russian troops at night where they can quickly withdraw and get away.

Are Russia pushing the Ukrainians back now? I thought Ukraine were making gains a few hours back?

So Gorbachev is dead eh? Pity.
Sadly this is good for Putin, now he's dead it's much easier for him to paint Gorbachev as the guy who destroyed the USSR and set in motion the whole "Ukraine situation" >.>

* It intercepted 53 HIMARS rockets, 4 Hurricane missiles and 3 Tochka-U missiles

President Putin: I trust all missiles were intercepted!?!
General Failure: Of course premier!
President Putin: Excellent *walks off*
Major Error: How did we intercept all those missiles?
General Failure: We cleverly positioned our ammo depos and equipment between them and the ground, not one of them hit the floor!

Sergei has no time to watch for HIMARS missiles, he's too busy working on Putin's new project: how to stop #NAFO from sending RGB ***** rockets to Russian positions

Country in active war with active enemy reveal active prototype of thing they might use in active war
Do we just tik tok our tactics now to our foes to just make it like fun and stuff so we can get more virals?
I get Baykar is a company independent shall we say of the war effort - not that independent if they are after the sales though eh ;)

End of the day Baykar are a private defence company who are looking to sell to anyone, except Russia currently. Ukraine is a handy showcase for them.

Quite a lot of ISR and AWACS type activity this morning with Jake12 (Rivert Joint) out over Romania, seemingly to extend coverage as Forte11 (RQ-4B) ends its mission along with the Artemis platform and Guardrails out - which I've not seen all in combination in awhile. AWACS transiting to Norway and late last night was some activity off the north of Scotland - not sure if it was routine/exercises or monitoring likely Russian activity - as there have been a few Russian ships (and likely subs) transiting through the seas around the UK such as the Marshal Ustinov.

EDIT: Slava class cruiser Marshal Ustinov, an anti-submarine destroyer plus some other misc ships including the one in orange (Russian navy oiler) to the left of the highlighted ship in the image below transiting through the Irish Sea and will pass close to Faslane:

The highlighted ship is HMS Lancaster which is shadowing them.
