Ukrainian southern command says its destroyed two S-400 launchers and a radar station in Kherson region. If true, that's nearly $1billion in losses for the Russians.

Also some news from Norway

"Norway has donated Hellfire weapons system to the hard-tested Ukrainian defence. The Hellfire weapon system from Norway, was originally acquired for the Coast Guard Command - the Norwegian Armed Forces are in the process of phasing out this system now. The range is from 500 meters to 11km. The delivery is for 160 missiles as well as equipment for launching and fire control."

the west really loves this as Russia has fallen big time.. go back to January etc and you'd think they'd take Ukraine in no time! not a chance. Their army is weak clearly. Only thing they have left is nukes and I wonder how well maintained those are.

Hopefully better maintained than their artillery reserves where it is estimated potentially 1 in 3 shells are dud/sub-optimal condition. OSINT sources seem to think the subs and mobile Topol, etc. based systems are where most of the resources go with the static systems likely rotting away.

EDIT: Or hopefully so poorly maintained the whole system is inoperable but not in an unsafe way for the larger world.

Can't imagine anyone wanting to fire a nuclear tipped artillery round when the barrel it's in is severely stressed and the round itself is liable to explode.

I wonder if the plans for the rea long range HIMARS will find their way into a Ukrainian missile factory....

Shrapnel's shrapnel, your just as dead. They'll do what they're told or get some lead in their ear.
