Being on a boat he couldn't partake in the new sport of parachute-less base jumping so decided to try body surfing.

Pretty sure when I was active in the thread in some time ago Rroff or someone similar kept saying Russian hadn't sent it's best and wasn't using it's best equipment.
Still a lot of people saying that, the Russian stooges are in denial, as if it's one big bluff and Putin is going to suddenly unleash a mighty army and sweep through Ukraine capturing everything in it's wake.

All that's left now is the amount of people that are going to die for Putins failures on both sides.

I see people are now saying their is a lot of people now fleeing the Crimea back to Russia, looks like that domino is now falling too, maybe that wont be as hard to take after all.

Yes he did and was proved wrong time and time again

They do keep thinking about replacing the engines with 4 modern ones, but then decide the cost isn't worth the hassle.

And as mentioned, they've been wanting to replace the engines for a while, but haven't yet due to complications and funds.

Boeing have the contract, signed it last year but they're having "integration" issues i.e. the engines are fine but making them talk back/forth to the aircraft is the issue -

Last fall, the Air Force selected the F130 engine made by Rolls-Royce North America for the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program, or CERP. Under the $2.6 billion contract, Rolls-Royce will equip the B-52 fleet with eight engines each by September 2038, replacing the bomber’s aging Pratt & Whitney-made engines.

Best is really subjective, it seem it's all junk but they still have large amounts for defending the motherland still, although they don't really need any of it when they have nukes as the ultimate defence

It's quite scary to think that when this is all over Russia will be left with no military but it will still have nukes

Like with several other points I've made people misunderstand the point I was making and refuse to try and understand it.

I never said Russia hadn't utilised its best, though there is a degree of that - stuff like T-90 tanks, BMPTs, latest gen aircraft, etc. weren't utilised until several weeks into the war and only fielded in tiny numbers even compared to their active inventory.

I feel they would be on their own if they did. (Defending against them, and actively engaged in attacking them, is going to result in likely mobilization of Russia).
