You keep saying that… And that doesn’t make it correct. VM do not use PPPoE, the router would be getting DHCP from the SH in modem mode.A known limitation In the hardware, yup. It's underpowered. Cpu is crud. Not sure virgin uses pppoe either.....

Have you tried it with the latest firmware?I am with VM. It's sub par product. Dont even think about QOS or installing the other apps.

Updated to latest firmware, the only app running is the network one, tried a couple of speed tests via the inbuilt test. 100% cpu usage, maxed out around 750 down. ie the same issue everyone has. Now the inbuilt test may be crap but speedtests outside of this are also the same. Was there hardware changes between pre-release and released UDR's? Just odd that some folk are fairing better than others on same firmware.Yes, I dug it out last night to make sure its still pants.![]()

Just odd that some people seem to get the throughput, so it's either setup, firmware or hardware differences.not that I am aware of but that doesnt mean much. There are plenty of people with the issue. Its a dual core cpu, its simply underpowered/skimping.
