Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

On the A53 where it bypasses Market Drayton and lo and behold there was a old style Ford Mustang on grass verge -looked like it had been pushed on there by the angle of it
Red with white stripes - Was gone when we came back at 9.30.
Haven't seen one for years.

The 600 LT continues, found a car for sale but in a colour I've never seen in person "MSO Helios Orange" and as it was relatively local I decided to go pay a visit. It seems to photograph more towards red end of the spectrum but in person the colour is a very deep orange with a light pearlescent, in fact it is a bloody stunning colour, remains bright and bold in the shade too.

Exterior wise for me it is an absolute dream specification, diamond cut wheels, CF packs 1&2, PPF.
The Spider certainly adds to the theatre, the whip cracks are addictive and I manage to get an un-accompanied test drive, well Briony came along. It also has additional carbon on interior and only 2000 miles.

Downsides:
- Comfort seats, the positive is though they are heated, ideal in a Spider I guess. Just Senna seats looks awesome though somewhat uncomfortable and P1 buckets hold you perfect but seem to fall apart.
- No coloured stitching or belts, so quite a dark interior and just basic speaker system.

Fairly priced at 159k, no warranty but as part of a deal the car would be inspected by Mclaren and a warranty put on as the car is current SOR, I am very tempted but they need to knock a few grand off especially as the market is softening at the moment, of course the GT3 is now gone so I am ready to buy, car had no issues I could find, no corrosion, brakes and tyres like new, but its 2000 miles you'd hope that was the case.

Gonna think it over the weekend, as its a car I'd drive mainly on road, maybe comfort seats is the better seat. Last picture tries to capture the sparkle, here is a video also:

@Gibbo - it looks more orange in the video than the pics. Similar to the McLaren F1 team orange.

How much space do you need to open those doors in reality? Had read somewhere they were ok to open in a normal parking space but I’m not convinced.

I’d say they open out the same amount as a normal car door half open it’s more the height with garage doors to watch out for.

In person it’s very orange no red at all but cameras make it almost red.

It’s like Porsche Lava Orange but a bit lighter and pearlescent, lava orange also photos red.

Bit of a dull/dark interior whilst the rest outside pops, might be a little bit of a let down after some time in it maybe.

Exterior is always most important it just a nice bonus to have extras like carbon, coloured stitching and upgraded stereos.

What’s the electrical whine coming from it? That would do my head in.

The front lifter.

Not likely to be front lift making the noise, almost 100% it is the power steering pump. They literally all do that, including mine. There's an ongoing 'technical update' thing they apply to the cars every time they find a way to make them quieter but they all still make that noise. I can hear mine from inside the car sometimes, it changes in pitch and intensity seemingly whenever it feels like.

100% front lifter the two cars I’ve driven it make the noise when lifter is active I even commented how comical it sounds, the noise ceased when the lifter was lowered.
