160k roubles is about 3x the average monthly wage, so could be attractive to some. Possibly only those that haven't read all of the accounts from soldiers who have actually been fighting in Ukraine though...
In the UK that would be equivalent to earning about £60k for 6 months work - could see it being attractive to some...

The Russians are being offered upward of 160k roubles per month apparently, in 2021 average monthly wage was something like 56k roubles. So if you sign up then you're getting about 3x the average wage.
In the UK the mean wage (so yes, much higher than the median, but the Russian figure is the mean as well I think) is about £38k per year. 3x that is £114k. Half that for 6 months is £57k (so about £60k
).Was just trying to imagine what an equivalent sum of money would be for someone in the UK.

The 64th Brigade is headquartered in Knyaze-Volkonskoye in the Far Eastern Military District, about 15 miles from the border with China.

Probably Yukaghir. Russia keeps them poor and they have a reputation for being very brutal even amongst other Russian's.
They bring in the Russians from the eastern Asian side as they have zero connection with the Ukrainians who they are killing.
Basic humanity is that we are tribal in nature and we form sympathy if the people your killing look like you and have a similar culture hence Russia is using these guys to do their dirty work.
If they die it's also a bonus as it's less Asian Russians and allows white Russians to move east and repopulate.

That cant be true, WW1 and WW2 proves this otherwise. The savagery in the western front was epic, east was in another level but you get the point
