Step 1, create a fuss over "ukraine" shelling Nuclear power plant
Step 2 Invite in governing body to verify it's about to go boom
Step 3. Make the area part of Russia
Step 4. Make powerplant go boom
Step 5. Blame the west/Ukraine for using Nuclear weapons on Russia
Step 6. Use Nuclear weapons in "self defence"

I don't know why everyone is obsessed with Putin using nukes, even a tactical nuclear weapon wouldn't be of very much use on the battlefield against dispersed infantry who are largely in trenches and makeshift bunkers. If you're referring to any other use of nuclear weapons then it's suicide for everyone involved.

Meanwhile
"Former head of Moscow Aviation Institute Anatoliy Geraschenko died as result of "falling from the high altitude inside institute"

This is becoming all too common.

It is kind of funny... But at the same time these people dying are likely the ones who have disagreed with Putin or who might have the potential to bring him down or at least weaken his position. As close to being on our side as anyone in an influential position in Russia can be (assuming they aren't proper ultranationalist headbangers even further over than Putin, which it doesn't sound like they were)... Each death is another obstacle gone for Putin.

The cover-ups really are laughable though.

Perhaps taking people out close to putin as a way to weaken him?

At the start of the war Putin gathered his leaders around and asked each to announce their support for the war. There was one senior person that was clearly terrified and made to look stupid by him. I can't recall his name but it was a clip going around at the time. I wonder whatever happened to him?

Could be I guess! They seem to have very wide ranging targets though and kind of think if there were opponents of the regime in the position to assassinate all these high level people without getting busted by Putin allied security services then they'd already have gone for Putin himself by now... A few of them seem to have been known for having slight fallings out with the regime too eg the article about that most recent guy says he stepped down from his position in 2015 after being rumoured to have had some kind of a disagreement with them. Take your point though, could be a lot more infighting than we know about though, possibly with multiple factions...

The head of the FSB or whatever? Sergei Naryshkin. (EDIT: SVR even).

Not a dog's chance the west will put boots on the ground in Ukraine even under the flag of UN peacekeepers. Anything that would involve western foot soldiers shooting at Russians is a no go. I wouldn't rule out massive airstrikes on Russian positions in Ukraine though and possibly taking out the remainder of the black sea fleet.

I remember that, always kind of felt like a staged thing to make it look like "Look, we allow people to say things against us".
