Agree. Put more pressure on the Russian defenses before Russia have time to train those 300k (or 1m) mobilised troops. Force them to be sent to the front line quickly with less training and preparation. Better to fight them when unprepared than allow time to train them properly.

I hate to think of more people on either side dying. But I am on Ukrains side here.

The fallout into the sea will tip turkey over the top as it would mean no food or seafood sales from the surrounding states.

Conscripts initial role likely provide logistical / support role freeing up the contractors to fight on front line

All out Nuclear War would see Putin die or at least ruins every luxury he currently enjoys as 1 of the richest men in the world. A tactical Nuke in Ukraine, would see Russia suffer some of the fallout and it would make any gains in Ukraine potentially unusable. It would also likely see China, India and Turkey distancing themselves from Russia.

Well, not all Russian nukes are based in Russia for starters.

I actually think all this talk of Nukes is playing exactly into Putins hands, he wants us to be sat there worried about it.

As Russia like to play the opposite game so much, I think we should send even more stuff to Ukraine to kick Russia out as well.

Of course he does this is what he knows and he can control us with it I said from the start in this thread.

Dont back down to a tyrant let him willy wave his nukes we will destroy you in to smitherines aswell.
 
Bit of a tenuous link, but we got back from Antalya this morning where we spent a fair amount of time on the Med. The presence of these coast guard vessels was very noticeable, there were at least 5 of them and one of them at one point was definitely looking for something going by its wake in the distance and the speed it was travelling:
