Not at all and its not the only thing there have been stories of russian subs snooping around undersea internet cables for some time and even before this Ukraine business kicked off they'd be a prime candidate if things get serious

Russian subs designed for sabotage and intelligence work have been around the north sea and the internet cables before so it’s possible devices have been left. Drones are also possible but so too is a drone inside the pipe.

I have no idea but would the pipeline not need to be emptied somehow if shutdown for so long or would it just be ok? I was wondering if it was done to relieve pressure.
