The article I read gave the impression the funding was for ordering units, so they'd have to wait, but even better if they're getting them straight away

I'd imagine they probably looked at ramping up production way back in March, 50 a year sounds like maintaining the in service units/keeping the production line running levels rather than the production line running at the full speed it's capable of.

What worries me about all this is Vlad talking about “existential threat to Russia”, what he means by that is a threat to his position. I wouldn't put it past him to lob something nasty in the direction of Kyiv if he feels threatened and it's beginning to slowly look that way.

No i saw a video on the ceo and a army procurement head saying the armg is hrloong them scale with a nee facyory - that i would expect to also cover parts and materisls.
That video is many years old. Definitely isn't serving in Ukraine

B) Before it was due to be switched on
It was never switched on.
What reason would the US have to attack/sabotage a pipeline that wasn't even in use that is now spewing methane in to the atmosphere?

Well who did it, would it be the Russians who could just turn the taps off at source and if things do get better, easy to turn them back on?
Or would it be the U.S who have openly admitted it, will force EU to find alternatives and to punish Russia.
Hmmm....so hard to figure out.
