Russia is a communist state, they controlled the USSR for a long time, telling the people what to do, making them comply with everything they wanted.

Then the Berlin wall came down and everything changed.

The former USSR countries who lived under the whip now had freedom.

From nothing to all the benefits of the west, suddenly they could choose and who wouldn't want the shopping malls, the fancy cars, KFC, Mcdonalds etc it was a new era.

Putin wants they old ways back, he doesn't want the former countries out of his control any more.

If Ukrain was defeated then Moldova etc were next, he could very well have got his way.

All this "NATO on our borders" is just smoke and mirrors, he knows fine well that Nato would never start a war with Russia, there is no purpose for it.

All he has done is proved, Russia is a failed superpower and pushed Ukrain and all other countries further away.

Belarus will be next, Lukashenko will be ousted and Transnistria will be liberated.

Russia is in no position to help them any more. He cant support Syria or Libya now either so his influence is shrinking everywhere,

He has done a lot more damage to his country than just Ukrain.

And who leads that charge? Now it wont be popular but no one is going to war with Russia over it.

Nukes might not be flying in Ukraine but they have no choice if NATO start a war with them

Russia couldn't handle a war with NATO so all they would have is nukes.

If nobody retaliates then nothing stops it from happening again doesn't it?

A response is inevitable in such a circumstance that the global economy begins unraveling, it would not go unanswered.

Reports I've read have read have said similar things. I'm guessing Iran doesn't give refunds.

Still pretty potent though provided they doge air defenses, the Russians have added additional 80mm mortar shells to give them extra damage.

To go with the above and throw some tin foil hat musings in there, if I were Russia I’d have my little submersible bombs planted weeks in advance and then wait till US navy forces are in the vicinity to make it look like they’d done it.
They do love to sow confusion.

Was listening to some ruzzki vloggers. In WW2 there was an army in ussr that was figting villages and taking men into captivity and then sending them to the war. Now it seems they just as they told.
It is funny(at least for me and some russian vloggers) that a lot of the pro kremlin 'tubers have left the country. On one hand they were okay to take money and use their reputation, but when things change they just disappear. There is another car 'tuber I check now. Will see what he is going to do. A few years ago he visited Crimea and likely was paid for the trip. He lives in the northern part and is over 800miles north of sainkt petersburg.

Seriously they should all march to the front line, turn around and shoot the ****** anyone higher than the equivalent of a corporal and start marching backwards. They cant all be this dumb to see what is happening to them.
