I've always voted Tory, but will not be voting at all at the next GE. None of the parties deserve any of our votes, they're all an absolute shower

This is how you'll end up with the Tories in for another decade, my Mum and Step Dad have a similar viewpoint. "Don't like Labour/Starmer/that mouthy Raynor woman" (their words not mine). So... you'd rather stick with the current shower knowing very little to nothing will change? They've had 12 years to get this right, and each new PM has blamed the last government for it's failings.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. -Albert Einstein.

This is proper nonsense.

Parties by their very nature are a shower, since if you align yourself to a party you align yourself to all of their ideas. We need proper independent representation for our growing local communities, with those MP's supporting our local politics. What use is it having a any party in power if it only represents a fraction of the people?

Yikes, LOL! Labour seem to have almost an open goal at the next election.

Do we really think the economic situation of today was caused solely by either of Truss or Kwarteng?
Genuine question..

No, there are clearly much larger factors, (I mean it's not exactly going swimmingly in other countries either) I'm not sure those two have been particularly great so far though.

The crashing of UK bonds market and the subsequent emergency intervention by the BoE because of a 'material risk to UK financial stability' were a direct consequence of what Truss and Kwarteng did.
