Boo Hoo, Poor Scalpers

Who, is overpaying for an Air fryer?
How is this even a thing? Are people really that desperate
It's more about creating an artificial lack of supply, kinda like the game consoles.

Like there how the Tower Vortex Dual Basket Air Fryer 7.6L that are being sold at B&M £99 are never in-stock thanks to scalpers buying them up to resell on the bay for £199.99.

Yeh, there's even a medical term for it...bonkers.
I'd more happily see account binding to national identity.

Similar to identity verification when using crypto for KYC. Lots of solutions online to do this now, bind your account to Identity or cannot buy protected items.

No more scalping, without committing identity theft. Identity theft being illegal, so any scalper wanting to do that is now a criminal with full extent of law on their doorstep.

Give me a shop like that please. They won't do it though, because they care not about protecting customers, just money coming in.

Damn, just seen the prices. That's bonkers. People are such sheep.

I was tempted with a dual basket one earlier in the year. But - surely having a big air fryer with two separate heating compartments completely defeats the point of saving energy.

And - 2400w? Damn, that's the same as a normal oven :p

It’s great isn’t it, I have just managed to pick up a 3090 trinity for £700. I will hopefully move my 3080 on for about £500 so have got quite a good upgrade for £200

Maestro was not £700 when it came out
"In 1983, investing £6,395 in a new Maestro Vanden Plas", so more like £6.5k. My older brother was tempted to buy a new FSO Polonez for £1850 if he remembers correctly around 1984,maybe 1985 :D
Average weekly wage back then was around £145.
