Boo Hoo, Poor Scalpers

I guess your ramblings make sense to you and everyone else is also the problem, I guess that is all the matters too.
I never gave a year so I guess we should have pretended the 4090 existed in 1983 or I chose a car like a Nissan Micra MKII.

People are already being scalped by Nvidia by paying for a 4090 :D. They're playing the entire market by making it look good "value" compared to the 3090ti or 4080.

How much are they gonna scalp them ? With fees and having to insure for shipping

When AIB can be had for £2k and get warranty

what kind of idiot risks nearly £2K with no warranty anyway? :D :p
I won't even pay bellow MSRP for a scalped GPU.
warranty for GPU is a MUST.

Well an easy £300 to be made if cash on collection and discounted fees to usual.

So gonna wait for discounts which you don't know when will come and I wouldn't wanna sell something that high in value on auction site no idea who's buying it seems way too much hassle

And what idiot is paying £2k for one with no warranty and have to hope they help if needed , when you can buy AIB for £2k with warranty

Yep don’t disagree. Perhaps the sold items on fleabay which suggest otherwise were not legitimate sales?

Does leave opportunity for those who saved money though.

I'll take the 4090 off your hands so you don't lose your house, for £300... I'm very sorry you didn't manage your risk properly.

But yes I'm genuinely concerned and I'm lucky enough to be not in the 98%. I can't actually understand the way people are acting at the moment with what is on the horizon.

Maybe I'm just too old and risk adverse now. All you need to start doing is looking at the growth of things like klarna, it's double year on year growth.

If we think all the GPUs are being bought with capital I highly doubt it.
Happens all the time (retail therapy) people try and buy their way out of feeling like ****, fill the void or whatever. The more doom, the more they consume.
