Considering the RTX4090 is £1650 and RTX4080 12GB is nearly £1300 you can thank Nvidia for giving AMD enough room to still price this stupidly.

It's going to be a repeat of the RX6900XT/RX6950XT and RTX3090/RTX3090TI.

Except,I suspect AMD will probably have the advantage in costs because the AD102 die is twice the area,so the yields probably are much worse.

Is that a bad thing if prices are right ?

Yeh ill have to wait until reviews, but if it's over £900 i think ill be out.

it's looking good so far, we just need prices.. best thing so far for me is 8k ultrawide screens coming soon 31:9 from samsung. The gpus look really nice too so far, but like I said prices needed now.

To be fair the 7900xtx doesn't need to beat a 4090.

It looks like it does beat a 4080, so if Lisa comes out and says the 7900xtx costs $999 then that's a win in my book!

Linus did a video on it and people couldn't see the difference,

Linus' video was very limited, only looking at fast-paced fps games. Nothing like Cities Skylines, space games, builder games, and many other genres.

The problem is Nvidia has made you think £1650 is cheap. The reality is that Nvidia has priced a RTX4070 for £1300,means AMD can still be overpriced and still be competitively priced.

Blame Nvidia for the Turing 2 pricing.

The RX5700XT was meant to be an RX690 but since Nvidia overpriced Turing they rebranded it one tier higher and it still looked OK value for money.

Depends on price and performance. But that RT performance was lower than I expected and i expected it to be low. Also depends on what Nvidia does, they could slash the 3000 series to be competative with AMDs 7000 series
