Yes they are.Apparently shark are heavy? This is a no go. As my gf won't use it. And I'll be stuck with the job!
So it's dyson, or random brand or get a new battery for old one.

It's heavy and cumbersome compared to our Dyson V8, so yes,Do people really consider the Shark to be heavy?
Do people really consider the Shark to be heavy? I mean, I've no point of comparison as I don't think I've ever lifted a Dyson stick. But absolutely speaking rather than relatively they ... well they don't weight much. I mean, I've never found my arm getting tired while I'm hoovering with one.

consider a robot (round shape), I have one per floor that runs weekly, ez life.

EUfly ones are great, I've got a g30 does my flat carpets and hardfloors down to £175 on amazon atm :O (newer models are out though so probably going to be a discontinued line)Which did you go for? Do you ahve carpets or hard floors?
I have the neato, it's square at the front, supposedly to get into corners better, but it gets stuck and bashes into stuff because it can't rotate on the spot.
It does a good job on my carpet and tiles floors tho. Might have been a different brush that's better for wooden floors I cant remember tbh.
I just googled and it looks like the lid from a kitchen bin or somethingI don't know why. But that one is so ugly!

Vax power blade 4 has developed a battery fault after just a year and a half. Usually I'd buy a battery. But tobe honest I've been disappointed by this vacuum throughout.
Main issue is the clogging.
It seems to clog with hair in various places. The neck of the carpet long head
The bin, it often needs emptying before full
The roller.
I don't want to pay Dyson prices
I was considering a shark along with the vax. I know they have good black Friday discounts.
We have a dog and my gf has long hair so anything that helps with this (short of giving her a skin head) would be great!
I was looking to buy one of these until I saw your post.
You wouldn't recommend one I take it?
Up at £169 + a £50 accessory pack at Vax.
Seems to get good reviews...
Others seem to like it, but I don't.
I find the dirt etc sticks to the air intake part inside and it blocks for me before it fills up.
I find it blocks everywhere and I don't know why. Also, hair gets wrapped around the brush bar a lot. (my gf has long hair).
When emptying I find I always have to pull the dirt out. It doesn't fall out. Maybe because the drum is sideways? I don't know.
Suction is good, battery life is OK, accessories are good.
It just blocks!
And now the lithium battery has stopped working. That for me is it. The batteries are about 80.
So although I wouldn't recommend it does seem to get good reviews. Maybe I'm expecting too much. No idea.
