They weren't really flying there anyway, Russian air force conspicuously absent.

Would definitely annoy Russia but at the same time, if you can't fire accurately, don't fire at all :)

A no-fly zone covers missiles and planes, basically intercept anything that isn't supposed to be there.

There are no mistakes. Calculated risks maybe. The russians knew they were firing close to the border. They accepted that risk.

The Kremlin needs to take Putin out and lay the entire blame at his feet. It's the only way Russia can move forward.

Some speculation it was Ukrainian S-300 AD missiles - unfortunately one of the issues with these systems is they can go many many miles off course even with competent operators let alone without - there is a reason Russian air traffic skirts so far off the S-300 and 400 sites connected to the Ukraine war :s

Did think that it could be stray air defence, but then it wouldn't have happened if Russia wasn't firing missiles at cities and certainly not if Russia just stayed in it's immensely large country it already has.

1 missile malfunction? Sure. 2 Missiles? Not a chance. They were 8km off target. Even a German V2 wasn't that crap.

Go on Poland, take a slice back! NATO or not you've waited 30 years to give some back to Russia.

Russia denies Poland 'strike', alleging claims are 'deliberate provocation'

We've had some words from the Russian defence ministry after claims emerged that a Russian missile struck a Polish village, killing two.
Moscow claimed statements in the Polish media are "a deliberate provocation with the aim of escalating the situation," the Interfax news agency reports.
It adds that "no strikes against targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border have been carried out by Russian weapons."
