Most of us no? I mean I only use my tablet to watch YT/Netflix etc on now and charge it at work. TV stays off completely because of costs etc. Heating never on. Lights basically never on, just use phone torch for light and charge that at office too.
Storage for who, Europe? We have next to no storage in the UK...
Sometimes it can be an issue with the building like yours. Usually it’s due to people not ventilating or allowing the humidity to remain high. I’ve had it in a previous place where the previous people had not ventilated it properly. It took months to get rid of it. Had to run dehumidifiers and bleach the walls every few days. This was after we had removed all the paint, treated and repainted it. It gets engrained into the wall and can take a long time to get out once it’s in.
Indeed. Not ideal. Short term loss of living will hopefully. Trying to stay positive. What a way to live, 2022... It's not right, is it?
We had to soak tissues with bleach and leave them against the wall to eventually get it all out. It worked after 6 months and didn’t have any problems for the next 5 years we were there.I have mould in corner of my bedroom, I examined the wall outside and is cracks so might be similar reasons to fez, my bedroom is the warmest room in my house. I also deliberately ventilate as much as I can as I value fresh air. However the windows are awful they dont let in much air, so typically to get air circulation I need to open my front door and hope its windy so it gets blown around my property.
I reported the cracks to my LL, the response was dont worry we can paint over it.
Seriously where do the gutter press find these numpties?Someone ere ?

Chavdar Todorov, 53, also picked up multiple £8.48 head torches, and he, his wife and two children now use them to get around the house after dark.www.dailymail.co.uk
If your electric bill is £320 a month, it's not the lights that are the problem unless you still have a ton of old incandescent bulbs. Some people just aren't fit to "Adult".
Better aka not as bad as it now ?We stopped buying Russian gas and had to fill up from other sources. Plus we will have a year to get more gas ready for next winter. I would expect things to be much better next winter. If the war ends then it will be even better than expected.
We stopped buying Russian gas in June 2022 and it was a tiny percentage even then 2%. We have been supplying Europe through the interconnecters at up to 75m cum per day this year. This may slow down if UK demand peaks in the winter. A combination of supply from the North Sea and gas shipped from UAE and possibly USA should see the UK through both this winter and next.Better aka not as bad as it now ?doubt we’ll ever get back to what we were at.

Head torches at £8.48 each, which need to be charged using electric.
One 12 Watt led will last over 83 hours for 1 kWh so 35p.
The cost of the 2 torches would have paid for 4,021 hours of light bulb usage or 670, 6 hour winter nights. And that's just for the parents, the sprogs have 2 as well.

So with this new Tory budget energy rates are going up another 20% in April (so 39.8p/kWh, elec 12p gas) but the £66 pm stops unless you get benefits
