Do you think all the radiation just sits there? Say he does a 10kt ground burst to really get the radiation to be a problem. What is to stop the winds carrying it over his own troops? Or into Russia or Crimea? Or into Europe?

Japan blasts were 12 and 21 kts but much dirtier than modern weapons.

He gives up the land. You can always retake land, you can't put a nuke back in the bottle after its gone off.

Nukes are much cleaner these days, I don't think it's that much of an issue

It's not really; it's within 8km of the strike, that's a pretty large area.

Where did you get the precise co-ordinates of the strike? In such a sparsely populated area, "near Przewodów" would cover a sizeable area. Including the stated location, which matches the description of the site of the strike. Although that's also not conclusive as there are probably dozens of locations that match the sparse descriptions available in the media. Descriptions that become less and less accurate as time goes on and outlets copy other outlets with a bit of rewording. e.g. "near Przewodów" has morphed into "in Przewodów" in some outlets. Which wouldn't match the description of the strike site.

The person in the video was right to ask for information. There are people who could tell us the exact location of the strike - anyone living in the area, for example.

Now, in the video that guy argues that he thinks that it could have landed nearer the point, but if that's the case why has it been reported as landing near Przewodów rather than the much nearer village of Wyżłów?

Maybe because Wyżłów has a population of 40. A place that small would usually be overlooked in the context of reporting something that happened near somewhere unless the place was famous (which Wyżłów isn't).

NATO isn't some homogenous entity where everyone agrees on the same course of action. If a Russian missile was fired at Poland by Russia and killed 2 Polish citizens Poland would probably be mobilising it's military and heading into Ukraine with or without NATO support.

And yet Poland was the one who immediately said they were fired at by Russia, before walking it back when the rest of NATO got involved.

I seriously hate the whole CT side of things. I dont have the time to do that sort of mental arithmetic to come to far fetched conclusions. However, this straight up stinks. Dont get me wrong I get why they would take this narrative, nobody in NATO wants to escalate to straight up war. This just dosnt sit right with me. Not one bit. I'd love to be proved wrong with straight up genuine hard evidence verified from all sides but until then I'll always feel this is dubious.

That evidence would be fabricated if deemed necessary. It certainly wouldn't be impossible to acquire some wreckage of a particular variant of the S300 missile, say it came from the site and point out that it wouldn't have enough range to have come from any Russian or Belarussian launch site. It wouldn't require too many conspirators to keep a secret. Just a few people in the right positions who thought it necessary in order to avoid escalation to a full war between Russia and NATO. Conspiracies are rare, but do happen if they involve a small enough number of people and a big enough motive.

So we'll probably never know for certain.

It was a big mistake by Zelensky to deny the missile being Ukrainian IMO, nobody is going to blame them for this, but by denying it it does genuine reputational damage.

He wants to draw NATO into the conflict, his country is at war so he's going to do anything to try and get support for it however he can. It also tends to bend your perception of reality when you want something so desperately to be true you tend to jump on any rumours that support your viewpoint the Poles who are very anti russian weren't far behind in that either, he's since said he may have to reconsider that opinion

If any potential cover-up results in some sort of quid pro quo for Ukraine that results in more assistance behind the scenes then at least it wouldn't be all bad.

So instead they name a place 8km away with a pop of 430? Nah, don't buy it. Both are tiny villages.

And the sky is blue... what a pointless report from Sweden, it was clear from day 1 that it was sabotaged. The point is we dont know who did it
