Missiles don't grow on trees.
Indeed... But if we & the rest of 'the west' were to spend even 10% of what we're losing / spending to mitigate the economic impact of the war on a crash manufacturing effort to produce more missiles and other much needed materiel then they might as well grow on trees.

I can see arguments for not going too overboard with support for Ukraine, but at the same time it's very frustrating to know we could be doing a whole lot more to help them... And at this point I think we should be doing even more.

I've not been involved in military aerospace for over 15 years but it wasn't that simple back then.
Sure it won't be simple, but if you're ready to spend enough money then you can get an awful lot done - prioritising component orders, converting factories etc. Even if there ended up being some kind of roadblock on missiles which it would be nice for Western countries to start churning out like Brimstone 2, or ATACMS etc, eg due to some shortage in a niche component with unavoidably long lead times or Switzerland blocking deliveries of a key component, urgent changes can be made and there will be weapons we could significantly increase output of on the timescales of months rather than years.

Even if we do run into problems with high tech guided missiles we could go for relatively low tech drones like Iran builds, needing not much more than some carbon fibre, a two-stroke engine, and a microcontroller. we have massive potential to offer increased support.

If we are genuinely unable to ramp up production on a sensible timescale then that should be quite worrying for our governments and I hope changes will be made to longer term armament strategy.

This is the case now, these munitions are built to a standard. If the government changes its policy and direction components and QA checks will be skipped.

I believe their are 3 levels as your more advanced munitions get used up lots of hoops can be skipped.

Bloody hell Russia embassy tweeting out Zelenskyy with a huge nose. Just blatantly using that anti semitic trope.

Fighting Nazism by being Antisemitic, only in Russia.

Err, it's a reflection on Pinocchio and how his nose grows each time he tells a lie.... Each line he writes on the blackboard is deemed a lie. Calm yourself.

Pinocchio is a hero of the 1883 children's novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Italian author Carlo Collodi. Pinocchio, an animated puppet, is punished for each lie that he tells by undergoing further growth of his nose. There are no restrictions on the length of Pinocchio's nose.

Nice straws, you seem to have a real good grasp on them as well.

That's the most bizarre Pinocchio picture reference I've ever seen and no one but you would have thought of that one up, that there is a caricature picture based on a Jewish stereotype all day long, not Pinocchio.

You obviously never watched Pinocchio did you huh

This is a joke right? Tell us you are joking.

And I think everyone has heard of Pinocchio and why his nose grows

Why should I be joking, that's what the cartoon means, in my opinion? I couldn't care less if the Russians want to make some Yiddish slur on Zelensky, if I thought that was the case I'd agree with you, but I don't, I think it is based on the globally well known puppet Pinocchio. <shrug>
