Watched the final The Walking Dead episode last night and wasn't expecting much but damn they pulled it out of the bag, right in the feels

Hoping the spin-offs are watchable, particularly the one with Rick and Michonne.

Reported Missing on the BBC iPlayer.

Always so well done but heartbreaking at the same time.

It's also really lovely to see the communities go above and beyond for all these vulnerable people.

Tried to watch Sandman - horrible

Started White Lotus Season 2 - only first episode, but can already tell it wont be as good as the first season. Murray Bartlett's modern take on Basil Fawlty in the first season was genius, and already there isnt a character to replace him.

Really liked sandman. One of my favs this year.

Started Last Man on Earth last night. Short episodes, blasted through the first 3 to give it the benefit of the doubt. Wont be continuing, didn't like it at all.

Loved this show! A shame it got cancelled

It does get better.

Wednesday - Watched all of it, I enjoyed it but it was different to the Addams family, The characters seam a little far from the originals, they have been toned down a little more realistic, I'm not to sure how to describe it.

it was more like Sabrina Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Finished S1 of The Bear. It was reasonably good. Tbh, I wasn't really sure what I was watching. Maybe that's why some people like it, just take the story as it comes?

 

[Alice In Wonderland]

There is a great 3 part documentary on BBC2 about the real Agatha Christie.

If you don't mind a few spoilers it is really fascinating and particularly her experiences around love and betrayal and how both wars affected her.

I grew up watching Poirot and Miss Marple but never delved into actually reading her books.

I'm definitely going to read them and particularly the one's where she used a pseudonym and was able to properly use it as therapy for her tortured mind.

Another great documentary headed up by Lucy Worsley who is really good at drawing you in.
