Cordless Vacuum to buy on black Friday?

I have found a downside to buying from Shark. I have been bombarded with junk emails from Shark and Ninja every day since I ordered it. I have tried unsubscribing to these emails that I never subscribed to in the first place but half the time the unsubscribe page goes to a blank page and the rest of the time it seems that they don't take any notice. I had it disabled in my account from the begining. I hate this nonsense from companies.

Not got a shark but I do own a Ninja Air Fryer and I believe they’re the same company. Due to Black Friday I’ve been relentlessly bombarded 3-4 times a day via email and I’m sure I’m unsubbed from their newsletters.

GDPR them.

VAX seem to have a really bad rep... I'd go with Shark or Hoover personally. Dysons are just overpriced, and people seem to complain about thier quality just as much as any other brand.

Spam emails I can cope with, mark it as spam, and check my junk folder if you are expecting a payment confirmation/delivery confirmation etc.

And yet the VAX wet and dry mains vacuum I bought in 1988 is still going strong.

Maybe they don't make 'em like they used to!

I have a Belife Cordless Vacuum Cleaner from Amazon.
From someone who has never owned a vacuum I'd say its a pretty powerful unit, can tell its not as powerful as a henry hoover that my parents have but its plenty good enough to get the job done, its better than their g-tech cordless thing.

I don't know WTF Parcel Farce are doing with my order for my parents given my wifes been at home. I don't think the box will resemble much when I eventually get it.

Go with a Dyson. Customer service is great, but after that finishes it's quite popular so easy to find spares to keep it going.

Battery appears to be fine. At least it's fully charged. Could be it's outputting nothing while showing charged.
Had to send photos of the unit charger etc and serial numbers so just waiting to hear back from Vax.

They asked for this for mine too. In my case it was definitely the battery.

Good to know. They said to press the button etc see if it shows charge.

It's one of two things a totally dead motor. Or a battery putting out nothing. Judging by yours being the battery, I know where I would place bets !

If vax do replace the battery I'll stick it on ebay. The ones in mine are 80 pounds new!
Must be some issue with so many reviews saying same fault.
